Yvonne Bramble is of British-Caribbean descent and is the Chief Executive Officer of Hair Or There Hairstyles Inc., also known as HOT Hairstyles Inc. She is the founder and developer of Alberta’s first comprehensive hair braiding education to include hands-on training courses, programs and workshops that focuses on natural hair care education, multiple styles of braiding as well as designs with the natural hair and hair integration techniques.
Yvonne brings over 40 years of experience in hair braiding combined with her 10 years of participating in western Canada’s largest outdoor market as a vendor, known as “The Hair Braiding Lady”. This market attracted crowds of over 15,000 every Saturday, having patrons line up from opening to close. This provided her with the ability to hone and increase her braiding speed and perfect her styling skills to become a Master Braider in the industry. Multiple requests for hair braiding services went far beyond her capacity at the market and further requests for personalized, in-home services were high in demand and she created “Hair or There” Hairstyling Services (HOT Hairstyles INC) to meet their demands within Edmonton and nearby communities.
Yvonne Bramble is a mother, a natural hair consultant, a natural hair integration and design specialist and a business entrepreneur. She developed the A.B.C.’s which is the acronym for the Alberta Braiding Curriculum to provide an introduction into natural hair care, along with all the basic information required to start one on their hair braiding journey. She has developed individualized braiding courses and techniques to progress those seeking a full portfolio of skills and more comprehensive, interactive and hands-on demonstration and individual guidance at each level. Classes, workshops and programs are fostered in a safe and inclusive training environment.
She has gained a vast amount of knowledge over the years in natural hair braiding, hair care and styling to offer this opportunity to everyone with an interest to learn her personalized curriculum and training, from A to Z. Let’s ensure that the trend is HAIR to stay!
Therefore she challenges all community hair styling programs, beauty colleges and hair salons limited to offer hair braiding education and training or have no access to skilled Master Braiders and facilitators to implement these services within their businesses to add growth in clientele and retention, increase business and sales profit, and extend a variety of natural styling services by offering training to your staff who can then provide these services to everyone within Alberta seeking natural hair services or wherever their newly acquired skills may lead them.
